The Reversing Diabetes, Obesity & Heart Disease Seminar was planned and presented by a volunteer group for the sponsoring organizations, which included the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Glendale Adventist, Loma Linda University, White Memorial Medical centers, Simi Valley Hospital and Weimar Institute. Community health needs was the reason for the seminar. Continuing community health needs is the reason we are currently exploring ways to follow-up with seminar participants, for their maximum, long-term lifestyle benefits.
